DongMyo Flea Market in Seoul "동묘 구제시장"

I'm going to posting about "DongMyo Flea market" today.
you can get to the flea market by taking a subway no. 1 or no. 6 and the station name is dongmyoap.
It's a typical flea market. People sell used stuffs including clothes, shoes, books, cameras etc.
The average cost of stuffs is mostly about 2,000-5,000 won (2-5 US dollars).
People say if you look at the products carefully, you can get a nice one at a very cheap price.
There are so many interesting stuffs as well, but I didn't buy anything.
I personally suggest to just go sightseeing, the quality of products is just that much.

Here are pics ^^

Okay, It was a DongMyo Flea Market so far.
Now, I'm gonna say then what is DongMyo ?!?!??!

Dongmyo Shrine (also known as Seoul Donggwanwangmyo) inSeoul was built in 1601. Construction began in 1599 and took two years to complete. On January 21st, 1963 Dongmyo Shrinewas designated as Treasure No. 142.  The shrine was built to honour Chinese Commander Guan Yu (162 – 219). The spirit of Guan Yu is said to have appeared and helped the Koreans defeat the Japanese. The shrine was built at the request of the Ming Dynasty for their part in aiding the Koreans during the Imjin War (Japanese invasion in 1592). In China, Guan Yu was a hero and many temples and shrines were built in his honour. Temples and Shrines dedicated to Guan Yu can also be found in Japan and Vietnam.    BY

청계천 "cheonggyecheon"

Cheonggyecheon (Hangul: 청계천) is a 10.9 km (7.0 miles) long, modern public recreation space in downtown SeoulSouth Korea. The massive urban renewal project is on the site of a stream that flowed before the rapid post-war economic development required it to be covered by transportation infrastructure. The $900 million project initially attracted much public criticism but, after opening in 2005, has become popular among city residents and tourists.

Cheonggyecheon is an 8.4 km creek flowing west to east through downtown Seoul, and then meeting Jungnangcheon, which in turn connects to the Han River and empties into the Yellow Sea. During the presidency of Park Chung-hee, Cheonggyecheon was covered with concrete for roads. In 1968, an elevated highway was built over it.

from wikipedia ^,^

The bridge where i went (dasangyo "다산교") is locally the middle of cheonggyechoen !

Right next the bridge, there are many and big shopping malls.

"Chollipo beach : 천리포 해수욕장" and "Mallipo beach : 만리포 해수욕장"

Hello,
It's summer in Korea now, so it's getting hotter and hotter.
So i drove myself to the Chollipo beach which is located in taean, chungcheong province.
I live in Daejeon (the middle of south Korea, locally) for now, and it took about 2 hours and half.

Usually, July - August are summer vacation season , so lots of people go to the beach or pool.
This time, I tried to find a quiet and tranquil place to go.
I googled and finally decided to go to Chollipo Beach!

There is a port on the right side in this picture ↑.
As you can see, the port is not far from beach.
It took just 3-5 minutes by walking :)

i arrived at the port ↓

There were few people who were fishing. I think they came for fun or hobby.
Yes, You can try if you like to fishising :)

I don't have many things to say about this place.
As you can see in the picture, this place is very peaceful, calm and beautiful.

it takes about 5-10 minutes by car.
But, the atmospheres of two beaches are opposite.
Mallipo beach is very crowded uproariou.

i don't know, if you guys can recognize that the mallipo is much bigger than Chollipo!

There are many sushi Restaurant!
And i chose one of them!
The restaurant "DolSum"

They have many kinds of sea food.

I ordered 칼국수" Kalgooksoo" - it's a noodle with Manila clam.

And the other side of beach, There is place for amusement!

OK! So, I posted two beaches which are very close each other and have totally opposite atmosphere!
I hope you enjoyed it :)
