Useful application for a metro information in Korea !

This is a Seoul Metro Map Guys.

Plus, I wanna recommend you an useful application for an android user.
The name of app is "Subway Korea"
on a google play store search bar, type korea subway". Then you will see the app

When you execute this application for the first time, you can choose a language (Korean, English and Japanese) and an area (Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Daejeon and GwangJu).

Also you can change settings whenever you want.

Next, this screen (map) ↓ is mainly showed.

You will mostly use "search button" which located on a right and a bottom side on the screen.

I'm gonna try to find a way from Hongik Univ. Station to Dogok Station

When you touch the search button, you can see ↓this screen.

And, typing a Hongik Univ. (<- Departure spot)

↓ Those are results, you should choose which line you want.

After you choose, 8 blocks show up!
As you can see there are Timetable, Exit Info, Station Info, Bookmark, Depart from, Stop by, Arrive at and Unselect.
I selected "Depart from" block. Because I wanna know how to go to Dogok station from this station.

Then, type a dogok station on the search button (same way as before)

when the 8 blocks show up again, now you should touch "Arrive at" block.

↓ This screen is a result screen. You can check how long will it takes and how many stations have to be passed on the top of the screen.
And you can see the route on a map, a fare on the bottom of the screen.

If you download this app, you can use it in all cities (cities have metro system) of Korea.

Especially, If you are traveling Seoul, this is gonna be very useful. Because, you can go almost every places with the metro in Seoul :)
Plus, there is a bus information application, I will post that later :)

Hot Taste Factory, Watch out the CRAB "매운맛 팩토리 게조심" KYUNG HEE university "경희대학교" Hoegi Station "회기역"

This is my First post!
It will be quiet awkward, please understand me :)

I went to the crab food restaurant near a KyungHee university in Seoul last week.
The restaurant name is "매운맛 팩토리, 게조심" -> translated to "hot taste factory, Watch out the crab"

HERE is a MENU

 [MENU]
1. 매운꽃게 쭈꾸미 부대 볶음 (stir-fried spicy crab budae) - 11,000 won
- crab + webfoot octopus + sausage + spam + bar rice cake
2. 매운꽃게 지짐 (spicy crab stew) - 9,000 won

*budae is from budae jjigae, which is a food that Korean enjoy eat

[Lunch]
매운 쭈꾸미 비빔밥 (spicy webfoot bibimbap)- 6,000 won
Main menu only for lunch (am 11:00 ~ pm 3:00) - 6,000won

[LIQUOR]

Lime Soju - 6000 won
green grape Soju - 6,000 won
Coffee Cream Soju - 8,000 won
Green Grape Cream Makgeolli - 7,000 won
Coconut Mango Cream Makgeolli - 7,000 won

* Makgeolli is a Korea's traditional liquor ^,^

2. Fried Rice (you have to order this, when your main food is almost done, they will mix the remained food and the rice) - 2,000
3. Self Tuna rice (You can refer the end of this post, I ordered and took a picture) - 3,000 won

5. triangle shaped japchae dumpling 10p - 3,000 won
6. spicy crab noodle - 4,500 won
7. extra udong noodles - 1,500 won
8. Pork Cutlet (You can put this on the main menu) - 3,000 won
9. Adzuki-bean ice dessert - 2,000 won

[(normal) Liquor]
1, 2 : original soju - 3,500 won
3: chungha - 4,000 won
4, 5 : beer - 4,000 won , 6,500 won respectively
6, 7 : makgeolli - 3,000 won , 4,000 won respectively

[Beverage]
1. Coke - 1,500 won
2. Sprite - 1,500 won
3. Juice (Peach, plum) - 2,000 won




This is a Main MENU which I ordered.

(1. 매운꽃게 쭈꾸미 부대 볶음 (stir-fried spicy crab budae) - 11,000 won
- crab + webfoot octopus + sausage + spam + bar rice cake)

 Can you see the white sauce between the main menu and an egg???
That's mayonnaise !!
on the laver, put some main menu and mayonnaise, and eat together.
it looks weird but i loved it.

As you can see it's uncooked when it first came out,
After few minutes,
It looks much better ↓

Oh, There are (8. Pork Cutlet (You can put this on the main menu) - 3,000 won) on the main menu.
we ordered the pork cutlet together
Plus, I gotta warn you, This food is EXTREMELY spicy.
So If you don't like spicy food, I don't recommend this place.
It will hurts you, Seriously, I had to take a medicine after this food.

You can eat it separately as well.

And, This is (Green Grape Cream Makgeolli - 7,000 won)

It doesn't feel like an alcohol at all to me, so you can enjoy this without burden.

The taste was more like an yogurt, it was very sweet.

I liked it a lot!

Finally, this is the 3. Self Tuna rice - 3,000 won

They give you sanitary gloves and you make a shape that rice to eat easily by yourself.

It's quiet fun.

It has rice, tuna, laver, pickled radish. You will like it :)

And it will help you to relax from the spicy main menu.
